New Do and other Fun Stuff

I've told a few of you about how I was planning on doing something drastic to my hair. I was getting tired of my triangle hair (what I liked to call it) and was planning on cutting it to my shoulders. So I didn't end up getting too scissor happy but a decent amount was cut off and there's definitely more layers and style to it. Now if only I can get motivated to actually blow dry my hair and fix it up during the week and not just for church.
This is one of the only pictures I could find showing how long my hair was before the cut. Plus it's a cute picture of Grant figuring out how to unzip Ryan's backpack and find an internet cord to eat. We're having to become more inventive in our baby-proofing these days, and Grant is becoming more upset when we confiscate whatever new, forbidden prize he has found. It's just not easy being little.
I asked Grant what he thought of my new hair cut and this was his response. He was mad there was less hair to pull. Actually, he was just tired the other night and sat down to cry and I couldn't help snapping a little picture of him, we even think he's cute when he's crying. That and look at his little turkey tail, I had combed that thing down 2 times that day, yet it goes right back to sticking up. I think he may be plagued by that Alfalfa sprout all his life.
It's Spidey-baby...we brought his car seat in because our car was in the shop so Grant took it as another climbing obstacle. Why not scale the wall while balancing on a wobbly car seat?
Last weekend we went up to VA to see my parents and MomNick (my dad's mom). We haven't seen her since our wedding and she had just returned from her 7th mission, this one was in Ecuador. Here's a 4-generation picture of Nickersons, it was really great to see her and spend some time with family.
